Guided tour inside the village with visits to the old Wooden Church of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel, “King Charles's Houses”, traditional wooden houses, William Blacker’s house · the famous English writer; visits to the local craftsmen (wool spinning/ carpet weaving) or the local poet Vasile Oanea.

To all you nature lovers out there I propose a walk off the beaten track. We start our walk from the village and go out through the orchards and between houses in search of special points of view and fragrant hills. We observe nature, identify plants from the spontaneous flora and share stories about the village and the surrounding environment. For those who want to collect plants from the spontaneous flora, I suggest bringing paper bags, cotton bags or reed baskets and a pair of scissors. I recommend you take drinking water, some snacks and have suitable shoes for off-road. We will cover the route with care towards nature while trying not to disrupt the lives of the locals as far as possible.

Hike towards protected areas such as:

Morărenilor Lake (Tăul Morărenilor) · a nearly circular lake with a maximum depth of 20 meters, which was formed through a landslide.

The raised bogs of Chendroaiei Lake (Tăurile Chendroaiei) · an oligotrophic peat land developed at an altitude of 1053 meters, predominantly fed by atmospheric precipitation.
This rare ecosystem shelters several northern floral species, some of which are relicts, including the carnivorous plants Drosera rotundifolia and Drosera intermedia (commonly known as sundews). These plants' carnivorous diet is a remarkable adaptation to their nutrient-poor environment.

The Rooster's Crest (Creasta Cocoșului) · the last and most spectacular remnant of a volcanic crater that erupted 9 million years ago here, in the area we call today Maramureș.

Borcut · among the three springs, which were used in the past for spa treatments and bottling, only the Olga spring remains, which emerges from a wooden hollow. The water is sulfurous, bicarbonated, calcic, magnesium-rich, carbonated, and is recommended for gastrointestinal, hepato-biliary, and nutritional conditions.
